Comments

Material is produced in the “As Rolled" condition. Springs are manufactured via the Hot Wound procedure, quenched and tempered. Each spring is checked for Rockwell Hardness to insure the proper temper is achieved. Temper Hardness should range between 41 Rc (187,000 psi tensile) & 49 Rc (253,000 psi tensile). Exceeding 49 Rc could result in brittle properties, increasing the possibility of failure. Bar lengths, in general, range from 15’ to 19’.
